The original Sundrychem was established by pharmacist Norman Fleminger in 1972. Thanks to his hard work and pioneering spirit, Sundrychem soon enjoyed a glowing reputation within the South African Medical Supplies industry.
Norman continued working with distinction in the sector for many years until, in 2011, he opened a ‘new’ Sundrychem under the direction of a fresh, young, passionate team.
Now in his 80s, Norman remains active in the business and constantly inspires the Sundrychem team in their journey to become the ’go-to’ medical supply store in South Africa.

So often we are asked what the differences are between a Government Regulation 3 and 7 First Aid Kit.
Well, the short answer is not much. The basic contents are almost identical with items such as bandges, plasters and CPR mouthpieces but the big difference is that in a Regulation 7 First Aid Kit you will find a "Spillage Kit" included.
The Spillage Kit is designed to help collect and safely dispose of fluids (such as blood) and is an item that can be replaced once used.
But wheather you choose a Regulation 3 or Regulation 7, you need to remember that one kit services 25 people, and even if you have 26 people in your office or factory, you will need two complete kits.
